MATERO CROWD STEALS DAVIES MWILA’S PHONE DURING CAMPAIGN RALLY

MATERO CROWD STEALS DAVIES MWILA’S PHONE DURING CAMPAIGN RALLY

Former Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Mwila has revealed that his mobile phone was stolen during a Toonse Pamodzi Alliance campaign event in Matero on Friday.

According to Mr. Mwila, the phone went missing as the campaign team was making its way to a rally in Zingalume Compound. He said he did not see who took the device amid the large crowd.

Mr. Mwila has since warned members of the public not to respond to any messages sent from his phone requesting money.

“I was robbed of my phone in Matero as we made moves for our rally in Zingalume Compound. I didn’t see who grabbed it, but they are now sending messages to my contacts asking for money,” he said.

“That is not me sending those messages but criminals. Please do not send any money to my mobile number,” Mr. Mwila added.
