Is God in the business of giving haphazard prophecies? No, but it seems He’s now taking dictation from opinion polls, campaign budgets, and whatever spectacle the state has staged for the evening.
Let us be brutally clear, stripped of all pious pretence: Prophet Amata has not received a new revelation from on high. He has simply read the room and noticed the state is paying performers, parading dancing teddy bears on stage, and throwing every cheap trick at the wall to see what sticks. His “complete vision” is nothing more than a complete lack of backbone, wrapped in the language of the divine.
These are half-cooked prophets: not messengers of the divine, but trial-run soothsayers, selling you half a promise, then half a retraction, and calling it “spiritual growth”. A half cooked prophecy is no prophecy at all. It is a guess wearing a cassock. It is a gamble that didn’t pay off, so you blame the dice instead of the hand that rolled them. “I only saw the early stages, then the rest unfolded later” how convenient! God, it seems, sends His revelations like bad mobile signal: cut off mid-sentence, buffering until the political landscape sorts itself out.
Consider the sheer absurdity of his excuse: if your first glimpse of God’s will is so partial, so easily reversed by what comes next, you are not a prophet ….you are someone who glances at the first paragraph of a book and claims to know the ending. Worse: you are someone who changes the story the moment the author waves a bigger cheque or a sharper sword.
Notice the pattern? They never get the partial vision wrong in ways that upset the powerful. They never see “half a landslide for the opposition” then “the rest confirms it” oh no……the incomplete view always leans one way, and the full vision always lands exactly where the establishment wants it. That is not waiting on God. That is waiting on permission.
If God speaks in riddles, He does not speak in retractions timed exactly to suit an incumbent’s campaign needs. If He reveals truth, He does not parcel it out in instalments that align perfectly with shifting political fortunes ,first Mundubile leads in two provinces, oh wait, no, now it’s a landslide for Hichilema. That is not how revelation works. That is how a weather forecaster works when the wind changes direction. That is how a lobbyist works when the client changes the fee.
And let us tie this to the farce we see playing out on our stages: the government is so desperate to manufacture support it has resorted to dancing teddy bears and paid performers to gyrate alongside the President. Do you really think it stops there? Do you think the same desperation that hires bears to twerk on stage would hesitate to hire “men of Gold” to tweak their prophecies? To remind them which side their bread,or their protection comes from?
They are the spiritual equivalent of those dancing teddy bears: hired for the show, disposable when the tune changes, and utterly dependent on who holds the microphone. They do not speak truth to power ,they speak power’s truth after checking which way the wind is blowing.
This is not humility. This is commerce, disguised as remorse. This is not spiritual growth; this is political survival, masquerading as divine correction. If you truly “learnt to wait for the full vision”, you would have waited before you opened your mouth the first time ,not waited until you realised your first guess was inconvenient to the powerful.
If you need a second look, a second prayer, a second chance to get it right after you’ve already shouted it from the rooftops ,you were never backed by God. You were only ever half backed by your own ambition, and fully backed by whoever pays the bill.
The question was never “what did God show you?”. The question is: what did they show you? Was it a sign from heaven? Or was it a reminder of who holds the purse strings, who holds the power, and who gets left behind when the teddy bears pack up and go home?
We are told to test every spirit. Here is the test: truth does not flip-flop like a campaign promise. It does not apologise for being right, then reverse itself to be popular. If your prophecy changes the moment the political wind shifts, you are not speaking for God. You are dancing to the same tune as those teddy bears, just in a fancier robe.
#BanaBaabo-When the Almighty needs a second take to get the election result right, when His messengers edit their “divine truth” to match what the state wants to hear ,then we have already lost the plot. And the saddest part? We’re all expected to clap along, just like the paid performers on stage, and pretend we can’t see the strings. A prophet who hedges his bets is just a lobbyist with a Bible and a half cooked word from heaven is worth less than the cardboard those teddy bears are made of.
Citizens please be careful. The Upd has become so violent and abhorrent other peoples Polical views , one Youth horse tuning the radio and the Mundubile song came on. He was brutally killed now the Dj who played this song has been fired. There’s only one month left will pay his salary so that his family does not go Why has the UPND fired the guy the Dj who played?
prophets, prophets, prophets, just using the word prophet to dupe the gullible. Wait we are voting on 13th, the so-called prophets have no role, we decide.
