NRPUP DENOUNCES STAGED VIDEO, CHALLENGES POLICE TO CONDUCT URGENT INVESTIGATION

The National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) categorically distances itself from a video currently circulating on social media showing masked individuals wearing T-shirts bearing the inscription “Mundubile” while making inflammatory statements and engaging in criminal conduct.
We state, in the strongest possible terms, that NRPUP has no association whatsoever with the individuals in that video. Any attempt to link our party or its officials to those acts is false, malicious, and forms part of a desperate propaganda campaign aimed at tarnishing the image of the opposition ahead of the August 13 General Election.
It defies logic that individuals allegedly planning or committing criminal acts would openly identify a supposed sponsor. The reckless mention of NRPUP Deputy Secretary General Mr. Kennedy Kamba in the video is clearly intended to manufacture a false narrative and mislead both the public and law enforcement agencies.
We view this as yet another example of cheap political propaganda designed to divert public attention from the real issues affecting my phone is on silent on my phone is on silent ambians. As the ruling party senses the growing demand for change across the country, it appears determined to resort to misinformation and manufactured scandals instead of addressing the challenges facing the nation.
We therefore urge the Zambian people to reject this propaganda and remain focused on issues that matter: jobs, the cost of living, good governance, and the protection of constitutional freedoms. Zambians are discerning and can distinguish between genuine political engagement and desperate attempts at character assassination.
At the same time, we call upon the Zambia Police Service, working with relevant investigative agencies, to immediately investigate the origin of this video, identify those behind it, and ensure that all persons involved are brought before the law.
We expect the police and other institutions to discharge their constitutional responsibilities professionally, impartially, and without political interference.
We also note individuals such as UPND Lusaka City Mayor candidate Simon Mwelwa and some social media accounts actively circulating and amplifying this video. Those found to have knowingly participated in spreading fabricated material or assisting in its production must be prepared to cooperate with law enforcement when called upon.
NRPUP remains a law-abiding political party committed to peaceful democratic participation. Our presidential candidate, Hon. Brian Mundubile, has repeatedly made it clear that an NRPUP government will not tolerate violence, political thuggery, or lawlessness under any circumstances. We remain committed to ensuring that those responsible for criminal conduct are held accountable through due legal process.
No amount of propaganda, intimidation, or misinformation will distract us from our mission of offering Zambians credible leadership and real solutions. The people of Zambia deserve a peaceful, issue-based election, not manufactured scandals designed to deceive the electorate.

Thats what comes with mundubile and makebi and people should be prepared for more of such in an event government changes hands on 13th, this is exactly what former pf cadres are praying for, you ll never remember the days of upnd if these ex lungu boys take government the immediate focus ll be to secure power and no-one should disagree, and only way is intimidating citizens. The choice is yours hh ll never suffer going forward whether president or ex president. At a rally you were encouraging your thugs to go and post on social media that HH is a liar. They put on your show, you want to deny. Zambia should avoid a disaster.
Even a grade 5 can tell that this is totally staged by upnd to make them look like a violent party. Just stick to what you can do for the country instead of such gimmicks.
