HH MIGHT BE SEEING ECL SPIRIT, I HAVE NEVER BEEN PRESIDENT, MUNDUBILE CHARGES
Toonse Pamodzi Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has suggested that President Hakainde Hichilema may be “seeing the Spirit” of former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu, insisting that he has never served as Zambia’s President.
Mr. Mundubile questioned why President Hichilema repeatedly tells voters not to support “those who have been in power for 10 years,” arguing that such remarks cannot be referring to him
Addressing journalists today, Mr. Mundubile said he was concerned by what he described as the President’s repeated references, insisting they do not match his own political record
“I’m worried about my brother Hakainde Hichilema and his hallucinations. When he stands on these campaign podiums, he says, ‘Don’t vote for them because they have been in office for 10 years,’” Mr. Mundubile said.
He added that the only explanation he could think of was that President Hichilema was confusing him with former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
“My immediate thinking is, is my brother okay? Maybe he is seeing former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu. But I’m not Edgar Lungu—I’m Brian Mundubile, and I have never been President before,” he said.
And Mundubile says he will be sworn on the 15th August as Republican President for the Republic of Zambia.
Your thinking is warped. For me I understand what he says. You were a cabinet minister under Lungu so you were in power with him, both you and your running mate, simple. In any case that is not a campaign message, what do you want to do for Zambia? Sorry no message no vote from me.
