I was fired as Finance Minister for advising PF against reckless borrowing, says Mutati
FELIX Mutati, immediate past Minister of Science and Technology has joined Vice President Mutale Nalumango on campaign trail in Muchinga Province where the UPND Alliance today, held a rally at Mpika Boys Secondary School.
Called to the stage to address scores of Mpika residents that had gathered to hear the UPND Alliance message if voted back into office on August 13, Mutati who once served as Finance Minister under the Patriotic Front—PF government, revealed to the electorate that a good deed cost him a job.
He said the Patriotic Front—PF government fired him for advising them against excessive borrowing, a debt mountain that the new dawn fought hard to restructure.
He urged voters to retain President Hakainde Hichilema for what he termed as, more economic gains.
