Copper Queens eye improved performance in Algeria friendly
THE Copper Queens will today play their second and final friendly match against Algeria, with the match serving as the last preparation fixture before the team heads to the WAFCON tournament in Egypt. Head Coach Nora Häuptle acknowledged the challenges of the squad availability but expressed confidence in the players currently in camp. “With the ones we have here, we are good to go, we level up on the performance we’ve built. But on the other hand, we just also need to ensure that the players are here. It’s quite difficult to play a last friendly game when the squad is not complete, so we need to evaluate this evening who is in here, how much jet lag we have….
