Gwembe grandpa hangs self after family dispute
A 77-YEAR-OLD man of Gwembe has committed suicide by hanging himself using a belt after an alleged family dispute. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a 29-year-old Mazabuka man hanged himself using a rope after a drinking spree. Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo confirmed the two separate incidents, saying police in Gwembe’s Munyumbwe area received a report of suspected suicide on May 31. “The incident is reported to have occurred between May 30 and 31, at around 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours respectively.
