It’s unfair to say police were just watching Gary being attacked – ECZ


THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says it is not fair to conclude that the police were just watching Gary Nkombo being attacked. ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro further says the Commission is working with the police to ensure that journalists are protected during election coverage. Meanwhile, ECZ Chairperson Mwangala Zaloumis says the country should resolve its own localised electoral disputes rather than looking to the European Union to help resolve them.
