Mundubile gives civil servants one-month ultimatum to change work culture
NATIONAL Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has given civil servants a one-month ultimatum to change their attitude towards work, alleging that some have become political cadres
Speaking during a campaign rally in Kasama, Mundubile claimed that some civil servants had abandoned professionalism by aligning themselves with the ruling party, adding that this should change before a new government is formed.
He specifically cited police officers, accusing some of them of failing to uphold the law impartially.
“Police officers are good people, but the people working there do not follow the law. We are advising them to change their work culture because the current government is going next month.
“So police officers should start learning how to follow the law because my government will be following the law,” Mundubile said.
The opposition presidential candidate further pledged that, if elected, his administration would take a firm stance against corruption and promote transparency in the management of public affairs.
He said his government would ensure there is no corruption in the country, adding that Zambians deserve accountability from those entrusted with public office.

Change to what Mr. Mundubile? These vile utterances have been going on for a while.
All the promises you have made lack seriousness and lack an explaination as to how you will finance them? How do we trust that there is substance you or what you promise and if any of it is sustainable?
Mundubile you think you are the first to say that,ama crowds you are seeing in front of you have gone to your head ka,take a chill pill mudala.
You can’t cross the bridge before you get there. In what capacity are issuing those ultimatum? UPND has employed more than 40,000 Civil Servants in the last four and half years and yet during your tenure, you failed to employ anyone but just very few, you even had a wage freeze. So which Civil Servant can even listen to you? You are just hallucinating. And what culture can you talk about now, in PF, you used to beat people in offices, lock out people from their offices, PF was the worst government this country have ever had and no one wants a repeat of it again.
