PEOPLE’S PACT EXPELS DR. FRED M’MEMBE, THE SELF PROCLAIMED MOST EDUCATED POLITICIAN IN AFRICA, 樂WITHDRAWS PRESIDENTIAL FLAG BEARER STATUS
The People’s Pact has formally expelled Dr. Fred M’membe from the alliance and withdrawn its endorsement of him as its presidential flag bearer, citing provisions of its Charter governing disciplinary action and loss of confidence.
In a formal notice addressed to Dr. M’membe, the alliance said it had completed the disciplinary process prescribed under its governing Charter and confirmed that a loss of confidence in his leadership had been duly determined.
As a result, the People’s Pact announced that, with immediate effect:
* Dr. M’membe’s endorsement as the alliance’s presidential flag bearer has been withdrawn.
* He has been expelled from the People’s Pact.
* He must immediately cease acting or presenting himself as a member, flag bearer, nominee, or representative of the alliance.
* His presidential nomination under the People’s Pact has been terminated.
The notice further directs Dr. M’membe to immediately return all property, documents, records, and assets belonging to the People’s Pact that are in his possession.
The alliance also warned that any public statements or actions purporting to override or contradict its Charter or the decisions of its governing organs would not be recognized and stated that it reserves the right to pursue disciplinary or legal action where necessary.
